Ellen has Viktoria Power

It is a matter of road safety.
Many people probably associate a tricycle with children, people with disabilities, or old people.
The soon-to-be 67-year-old Ellen Rohwer in Vildbjerg is neither a child, disabled, nor old, but is still the owner of a tricycle Viktoria Power bike.
Many retirees opt out of the bicycle as a means of transport. This decision is made because some people feel that they cannot physically stand it while others feel unsafe by cycling in traffic.
Former teacher Ellen Rohwer from Vildbjerg also experienced this, but she - unlike others - would certainly not leave the bike standing.
“I felt insecure driving in traffic. I was simply afraid of tipping over, but I did not want to stop cycling, because it is great to cycle, ”says Ellen Rohwer, who also has an exercise bike standing in her living room.
"Yes, it is completely traffic-safe", says Ellen Rohwer laughing, as she continues: "I use it often, but it is not the same as a bike ride."
Ellen Rohwer wants more safety when cycling, and so it occurred to her that a tricycle might be a good thing.
"Yes, I simply went in and wrote 'bikes' on Google, and here I came across this 'Viktoria Power', as the bike is rightly called", Ellen Rohwer continues, pointing to the bike.
The bike is available in a "Viktoria" model and in a "Viktor" model. The Viktor model is slightly larger and most suitable for larger people.
The decision to buy this special bike took Ellen after trying it for a week.
“It is really comfortable to sit in. Yes, you almost feel like you were sitting in a car. The first time I tried it, I actually caught myself grabbing for the harness, ”says Ellen Rohwer, as she sits on the bike and pulls on the smiley face.
Tricycles are available in several models, both with two wheels in the rear instead of in front, in other colors, with or without an auxiliary motor, and some are even specially built for people with disabilities.
“The good thing about the bike is that you do not have to get off when you have to stop. You pull the handbrake and then you just keep still ", says Ellen Rohwer.
“I think it would be good to realize in time that you need help. Getting started before you become too weak or disabled is important. I have met great interest in this bike. ”
With the Viktor Power bike, Ellen has both the confidence and the desire to ride back.
"I think it's so nice to ride a bike, so why should I let my anxiety take my opportunity to ride a bike from me." it sounds from a delighted Ellen Rohwer.
